I’m Carina, an interior designer and colour consultant for design-conscious homeowners that want a home that feels like THEM.

And like most people, I have champagne tastes and a limited budget… and that started young.

I was a child of the ‘80s with the perfect arrangement of Leo (babe) posters plastering my walls and spending way too much money on cute knick knacks for my room.

But it was the feeling it gave me when my room reflected my personality and made me want to show it off to my friends and family:

I knew early on that a well designed room could genuinely impact my happiness. So I became obsessed with interior design (hello too many cushions).

Before studying a diploma of Interior Design, I spent over a decade creating textiles prints and soft furnishings for homeware company Citta. 

After the birth of baby no.2, I started assisting friends and family with their  interior design projects, and that's when No Buttercups was born - out of the desire to help others create beautiful, unique spaces on a budget.

And now I’ve opened my books to work with clients one-on-one.
